1.10” totals here. East fork creek behind me is rolling, so those 2-4” amounts upstream are probably spot on . Hi-res NAM was the only one showing those high end isolated totals so good job from that model.

Similar to a July/August scattered shower day. Brief heavy downpours and they rain themselves out in 30 minutes without the shear to keep them going for to long. A light shower moving in here atm

Rest of the month temp forecast for MBY

Above normal temps to continue to finish the month, other than a day or two cool down, but no frost in sight. Soil temp( top 4 inches) averaging mid /upper 50s and higher. Soon as the ground drys out in a day or two going to go ahead and plant a few Tomatoes and peppers

Wasn’t expecting this much rain , .60” in half an hour, ground saturated again. Two warned cells back to back with hail.

Finally dried off enough from our rainy stretch to mow here, second time of spring. Pretty nice day with brief off and on sunshine. Winds have died down also

NAM totals through the weekend

A much needed break from the heaviest rains for most of AVLAND through the weekend. With tomorrow’s warmth , very low DPs and gusty winds the farmers will appreciate the rapid drying it will bring and fully expect them to be pulling all nighters through the weekend ,out this way .

Think the NAM has been leading the way for Saturday staying mostly dry during daylight hours , especially for areas south of 71.

NAM is rain-free for Friday and most of Saturday
