Check your news feeds. The island of Maui is on fire - particularly Lahaina Town. A contained wildfire exploded overnight due to high winds and will likely destroy much of the entire town. The Coast Guard is rescuing people that fled into the ocean to escape the flames.

Power is back after being off since 4:30am. Morning walk showed many big branches down, one that went through the roof of a house. Rain was .7".

That little line only gave me .2 of an inch. I think I'm sprouting a new dome. No disrepect to Bgoney and Mike who are the king of domes!

For me, the bark of that line of storms was much worse than its bite. Brief heavy winds but not much rain. Disapointing to say the least.
