Heaviest rain missed just to my south - seeing some amazing rainfall rates down in the Hamilton-Middletown-Xenia corridor. Wouldn't surprise me if someone receives a quick 1-2" in that batch alone. My total up to 1.34" for event with 1.04" since midnight.

Sitting at 1.40 imby. Just had a gully washer. Hoping for more as I moved my truck from under the tree, it needs a bath. :)

I like a similar 1-2" call for the Sun night - Wed period of next week per GFS and Euro runs this afternoon. Pattern looks to be a repeat performance. Severe wx threat will of course be determined as we get closer.

Until then, expect a windy and cool day tomorrow with some sun - Temps in the 60s. Light frost threat possible Sat morning, otherwise a lovely weekend on tap for anyone with Debry Plans.

Good Afternoon and a hazy sunny day here in Greenville. Looks like the forecast did well with the only place I see that has not got the 1-2 inches is towards Lexington but they still have several hours of rainfall possible. Just like all forecasts hard to make a area wide forecast without missing somewhere. Models will give possible amounts but are not perfect as we know. Still like the looks of early next week with more rainfall.

Now sitting at 1.80 looks to be pretty much over other than some mist and drizzle for the remainder of the night.

Looks like most folks got into the AV Forum Forecast of 1-2". Nice job folks! :D Our weather forecasting for April is done. Last day of the month is expected to be cooler, breezy, if not windy tomorrow afternoon, with temps in the 60s.

For CVG, April will finish up below avg still in precip about 9 tenths of an inch down. For temps, near normal. Going into today we were at -0.2 lol

Columbus ended up breaking a record. Mind you not by much 1.88 is the new record 1.82 was the old from 1996.

So whereas I feel you folks in CVG land will stay dry today, the Hi-Res is hinting at some pop up showers this afternoon mainly north of Dayton and perhaps into the Columbus metro.

Probably due to the second frontal passage. CU development to the north already occurring. Too much dry air down here as you mentioned. This system will be the cold air deliverer for the frost threat tonight.

Looks like a sizeable portion of the country will be below normal in temps for April (sorry global warming hysterical Weather Channel LOL). Of course this does not include today.

We are right on the line between above and below - so near normal for us as you mention.
