So despite Bobby Boy Castellini starting the season with a spring training dumpster fire fire sale, rumors are speculating about possibly trading veteran starting pitcher Luis Castillo at the late July deadline. NO wonder the Redlegs aren't making substantial strides with a trade trigger finger owner family like that! DON'T OFFER CURRENT PLAYERS MORE MONEY IN THEIR CONTRACTS ...JUST TRADE TRADE TRADE TRADE ...AND IN RETURN MOSTLY NOT GETTING TOP PROSPECT VETERANS FROM OTHER TEAMS!

Add to that the amount of injury list issues for this season so far, too.

The Redlegs have been pretty much a tormenting torture chamber since GM Dusty Baker left the helm after the 2013 season.

Tuesday's game at Yankee Stadium was the first time in the modern era that a team with a sub-.400 winning percentage came back from three-plus runs down in the ninth inning to defeat an opponent with a .700-plus winning percentage (minimum 50 games into the season), per Stats By STATS.

It also marked New York's first loss in 2022 when leading after the eighth inning. They were 48-0 entering Tuesday night's game in those situations.
