Only .15” here but you’d be think it rained an inch with water standing everywhere as the ground already had plenty of moisture. None of fields out this way have been planted , the latest I can recall and now I’m not sure when the farmers will be planting

Rain is light here, almost like a "topping off" of the ground moisture if you will. Perfect intensity for young plants / grass seed!

Good Morning and would have thought we had at least a 1/4 inch of rain yesterday but that was not the case. Expecting more sun today and this will most likely help in some heavier downpours but again not everyone will see this happen. Wednesday still have the influence of the low but its moving northeast so a repeat of today except the further west you live the less likely of getting in on the showers. Thursday looks dry for the most part but with the increase in temps and humidity its no a zero chance but rather slim to say the least. Severe weather on Friday and still believe we have a chance to see some severe weather late in the day or the evening. Always a timing issue and hopefully can narrow that down to time and place as we get closer. Not an expansive severe outbreak but we look to be in the best position at this point

Good morning and I am with you Tim. Some areas got a good soaking, but others, like our hoods did not. We'll try again this afternoon and tonight. A small chance tomorrow, dry Thurs, then possible strong to severe action for Thurs night and Fri. Mid 80s for Thurs and Fri also. Get ready for a taste of summer!

Nothing here yet but I think I read somewhere that around the I-71 corridor on East is supposed to be the best concentration for this broad in our area.

...SUMMARY...
Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are expected across parts of the western Great Lakes and Midwest Thursday afternoon and
evening. A more isolated/conditional severe threat will extend into the mid-Mississippi River Valley during the late evening and
overnight hours.
The NWS and SPC seem to contradict each other on that day because the NWS is saying mostly sunny for here in the MV and Tri-state on Thurs.
My Dad and I are supposed to play our next round of Spring Bocce ball tournament on Thurs afternoon at 2:30.

Areas just SW of Cincy are also outlooked for Day 4 - Friday so IMO, we may see two rounds of stronger storms. Thurs night into early Fri then again Fri night.
Hopefully, NKY counites can catch some of that Central KY action this evening before we lose the heating of the day and as the upper low moves thru.
