I sure hope the 06Z GFS is wrong for the Easter weekend as it's showing lots of rain through Monday! Ugh
We are doing Easter on Sat with the niece and nephews and the Easter Egg hunt maybe indoors this year. They will be at their other Grandmother's on Easter Sunday itself so we can't move it on this end.
Same here, my nephews will probably have to do it inside Sunday morning. At least the steps at Mt Adams will be a nice day for Good Friday!
I would for the 12Z GFS to be right. Morning rain on Sat then the front bends back NW as a warm front while the low to the SW begins to track along the front. It moves NW long enough before coming back SE again Sat night. I get enough of a dry window for the Sat PM Easter Egg Hunt. Go GFS! Please be right. It makes for a very wet Easter Sunday now though as the trade off and for some of you that would not be so good.
12Z Euro agrees with the 12 GFS for Sat and then for Sun, the warm front continues NW so Easter is dry also. Everybody wins on the 12Z Euro. Sun night is when the cold front passes.

35 at CVG, 33 here this morning also with some light frost. We should do it again tonight. Then we warm up and track storm chances unfortunately for this weekend. The days and times are still being worked out on the guidance so stay tuned.

Good evening for a fire while watching a baseball game
Both the Tigers and Reds are looking great! New GM Terry Francona e.g. etc. is just what the doctor ordered!
Good Morning and have not looked at anything concerning the weather and will do that later today but yes Terry Francona is a manager that understands the game plus how his players are doing each day. Best hire since Dusty. Early in the season and many things can go wrong but a really nice pitching staff which is not common in Reds history and if we can just get timely hitting I like the chances of being in the postseason.
12Z Euro looks good for most folks. Keeps the storms NW of us on Sat and all areas look good for Easter Sunday! We get the front Sun night into Monday. Nice trends today guys... we hope!
A small shower risk late today otherwise a nice day is in store with highs in the mid to upper 60s. A nice Good Friday with temps 75 to 80 but very windy conditions with gusts to 40+ mph possible. Then... what model do we trust for Sat and Easter's forecast? I will hold off on commenting further until we see the 12Z suite today.
