Well my lucky streak in July has went by the wayside. A whopping 0.07 at my house. Another chance this afternoon but is the timing going to work out or will folks southeast of here get in on the goods.

3 tenths in the three different gauges. It was heavier just off to my N/W judging by radar earlier. Waiting on the pavement to start to dry up a little at the moment.

Looks like the cold front is in northwest Indiana. Low pressure well to the north with bands of rain. Problem is low pressure heading northeast so the bands of rain will head in that direction. Then when will the cold front arrive and can we get enough pop in the atmosphere to produce some showers and thundershowers.

Thank you all for the reports. Keep 'em coming! Portions of the S Apps into the Mid Atlantic states are going to be upgraded to a moderate risk due to damaging winds in excess of 70 knots per the SPC discussion. The best dynamics continue to be S and SE of our local area. 40-50 knot bulk shear over Central and SKY is going to boost these storms to our East later this afternoon. For us... scattered action until the front passes is all I am seeing which flat out stinks!

Lawrenceburg, IN into the West side of Cincy is getting a nice cell. I can hear the thunder from it to my NW. Looks like it'll skirt just north of CVG.

Definitely a nasty looking cell near Blanchester. Keep your eyes open folks if you are SE of I-71. For the rest of us, scattered showers will rotate in on the back side and that'll be it.
