PTC (Post Tropical Cyclone) Idalia has winds of 60 mph moving ESE at 16 mph. NHC has it becoming a real TS again within the next 36 hours, then becoming PTC again by 96 hours. We shall see how long it lingers before getting kicked out to sea.

Thanks Les and Eric Ran into someone who graduated high school with my brother. She lives in Georgia now and I saw through fb she was down here.

Back to weather there has been rain and storms around with a disturbance out there in the gulf. Had waterspouts a few miles down the beach. I didn’t see any though.

Of course the NHC named two more storms in the Atlantic and wow they are no doubt naming storms to arrive at predicted numbers. Both Gert and Katia looked ragged at best. Sad to say but folks on forums like this who follow the weather and the facts must be the ones that inform folks who only get their weather from the mainstream media. Even Fox has been heading that way on the weather and hopefully not just for the ratings.
