The column was saturated around noon and has been snowing ever since. Have a dusting so far. The flakes are small and dry.

Some MJO models get it into Phase 6 then it dies. Others Phase 7 then it dies. It is hard to trust the guidance since it's been so bad. Been out on my morning walk. Radar indicates it's snowing here but it started as some sleet and transitioned to rain. I did get a report of heavy snow up near Greenville.
